Apart from being the most successful franchise in IPL History, Mumbai is going through a rough phase, which almost all the teams have gone through at some stage. MI struggles to get a single win. Team’s openers and middle orders don’t seem to click together. In the 1st match, middle order had done well, while openers let the team down. In the 2nd match, openers got a decent start, middle order let the team down. MI's batting order lacks proper balance. If Mumbai wants to regain their former glory, they will need to make some ruthless decisions. Either Rohit or Ishan should open with Green. Ishan who is completely out of the destructive form and takes much more time to settle, needs to attack from the word go and Suryakumar need to get his belief back. After a series of low scores in the last few matches, his confidence has taken a huge hit. He needs to gets back to his fearless self. In bowling, MI must bring back Ramandeep Singh who has shown his medium-pace bowling abilities during last season and bowled decent spells. Karthikeya should be directly in XI. Also, Jofra Archer may return today.
MI have to use their old formula of team combination - one foreign opener, one finisher and other two foreign bowlers. When MI used to win earlier, they chose this same formula and with this they used to win matches!
Probable XI : Rohit, Ishan, Green, Surya, Tilak, Tim David, Ramandeep, Jofra, Karthikeya, Chawla, Behrendorff
(Rohit Sharma who has played 32 matches against Delhi but yet to win M.O.M Awards)
With three games down, Delhi Capitals are yet to open their account. In the previous match, they suffered a big defeat against Rajasthan Royals. David Warner, who is a top run-scorer for DC is single-handedly carrying the whole batting unit. Rest of the batters have failed to put up big scores consistently. Prithvi Shaw & Rossouw's IPL form is another thing that the team needs to address immediately to get DC on the Winning track. Both players’ form is must. Delhi may start as slight favorites today owing to home conditions and a better record against Mumbai at Home.
Probable XI : Prithvi/Manish, Warner, Rossouw, Powell/Marsh, Lalit, Axar, Abishek Porel, Kuldeep, Nortje, Mukesh/Ishant, Khaleel

Form Update (last 5 IPL innings)
Key players to Watch :
David Warner: The most consistent batter in IPL history, loves playing against Mumbai Indians. He has the Average of 54.27 and SR of 141.43 against Mumbai in the last 15 Innings.
Khaleel Ahmed : He can trouble MI’s top order with the new ball. He has picked 6 wickets in 4 matches against Mumbai. Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav struggles to play against left-arm pacers and thus, he can take advantage of that.
Cameron Green: He is one of the most intriguing young all-rounders in cricket.
He is an elegant batter who can bat at any position when team needs and a bowler who can do a decent job both with new ball and at the death. The Mumbai Indians will be expecting contributions from him for both the bat and the ball.
Suryakumar Yadav : The No.1 T20i batter, he may have struggled in the recent matches but no one can take ‘Mr 360’ for granted in T20 format. His contributions in the middle will be the key.
Axar Patel: He is left-arm orthodox spinner and a decent batter. Earlier he had troubled both Rohit & Surya. Both have 84 and 87 SR against him
Tilak Varma : Star boy of Mumbai Indians & one of the most promising young talents. He has an average of 41.92, SR of 137.06
Ishan Kishan : He loves playing against DC, He averaged 157.5 & SR 152 in last 6 innings against Delhi.
